Mission
SMR’s mission is to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth through competitive collegiate rugby, while building a supportive and inclusive community on and off the field. We abide and support all of Salve Regina’s established policies. Long term goals include keeping up a winning tradition, fostering a welcoming community, and being able to proudly represent Salve Regina. We improve the University’s community by giving students a chance to play and learn the sport of Rugby, and allow anyone from high tier skill to no knowledge or experience of ever playing the game a chance to be a part of a great team and group.
