Franconia Notch Camping/Hiking Trip

Love fall hiking in NH?? So do we. We will be tent camping for two nights at Campton Campground in Thornton, NH and hiking the popular Franconia Ridge Trail.

This is a moderate 8.9 mile trail that has some of the best views in the White Mountains. There will be alternative trail options for hikers with less experience if necessary, but please be prepared for a long day on the trail.

Vans leave Rodgers Friday afternoon and return Sunday afternoon. Exact times will be emailed as we get closer. Food, tents, and transportation are included.

Please only register if you are definitely coming as there are limited spots. There is a $25 fee to attend, but we want to make sure everyone who wants to come can. Money should never be the deciding factor. Email michelle.caron@salve.edu with any concerns.

Cancellations will not be permitted after 12am on 9/17/26 and charged the same as no-shows. No-shows will be charged an additional $80 in addition to the $25 participation fee. These will be automatically billed to your student account.
