We envision ISC as a tool to help international students through their entire tenure
at Salve and beyond. ISC would work with the Center for Global Education and
Fellowships to connect with international students prior to their arrival. In addition, once the students arrive, we would help them connect with the entire international student body.

ISC would serve as a resource to overcome the obstacles or challenges we all encounter when we arrive at Salve, especially for the first time. The club would allow us to share with each other the similarities and differences in our cultures and the positive aspects of being international students at Salve. When we graduate, the existence of the club will also help us stay connected and network as we navigate life after Salve.

At Pickleball Club, our mission is to create a fun and inclusive community for
pickleball enthusiasts of all skill levels. We believe that pickleball is more than just a sport, it can
be a way to promote physical fitness, create new friendships, and to feel a sense of belonging
while finding enjoyment in a new hobby. Pickleball club will provide a welcoming environment
where everyone can share their passion for the game, whether they are beginners learning the
basics or experienced players enhancing their skills.
The aim is to improve the pickleball experience through regular meets, creating friendly
competitions, and including social events that will encourage participation and engagement. Our
plan is to empower our members to grow in their abilities and develop a deeper appreciation for
the sport. We also aim to have pickleball contribute to a healthier lifestyle and a stronger
community amongst students
Additionally, we would like to emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, respect, and
community on and off the court. We seek to create an environment where every member feels
valued and supported, developing lasting connections and relationships among players.

The purpose of the Salve Regina University Psychology Club is to provide students who

Salve SAVES (Sexual Assault Violence Education and Support) is a student-run
organization that aims to provide educational opportunities, spread awareness, and actively
combat the prevalence of sexual assault and domestic violence at Salve Regina.
As college students, we have the opportunity to play integral roles in countering rape
culture and ending sexual violence, not only on our campus, but also around the country. It is
also important to note that, despite its relevance in our culture, sexual misconduct and domestic
violence continue to be uncomfortable conversational topics. Salve SAVES hopes to create and
foster safe spaces on campus and pave the way for these important conversations to take place.
Above all, we are Advocates, we are Survivors, we are Allies, we are Faculty, we are the
Salve community. It is our mission to give back, educate, and advocate for that community.

The mission of the "Salve Regina TreeHawks" club is to help get Salve Regina’s Arboretum to a Level 3 status (it currently is at level 2). Dr. Chace, who is a professor here at salve and the current chair of the Dept of Cultural, Environmental, and Global Studies, has ideas about a plan on how to achieve this higher status. He has agreed to be the advisor of this club and with his help, students/members will be involved in tasks such as cataloging trees and shrubs on campus during the school year. Another aspect of the club would be community outreach about local issues involving our campuses trees (such as Beech Leaf/Beech Bark disease) as well as working with Mike Chester and Mike Potter in grounds and Mary Beth Pelletier (co-advisors with Dr. Chace). Mike Chester and Mike potter help to keep the trees on campus healthy, make choices of new trees, and make decisions when old trees need to come down. Mary Beth Pelletier is a member of the sustainability committee and is directly involved in the planning of on campus activities such as Arboretum Tours and Earth Week events.
