About Us

The purpose of the Salve Regina University Psychology Club is to provide students who are interested in psychology with the opportunity to become involved in the world of psychology outside of the traditional classroom. The group seeks to provide its members with mutual support and camaraderie based on their common interests in behavioral science; to create opportunities for the informal exchange of ideas about psychology in general including, but not limited to, current events and important issues in the field; to expose them to concrete examples of psychology in action via media presentations, guest speakers, field trips, and attendance at conferences; and to provide mutual support and assistance for its membership regarding career planning and preparation for graduate school.
