Join Salve Regina University’s American Marketing Association (AMA) Collegiate Chapter at the Broadway Street Fair and gain hands-on marketing research experience while supporting a local nonprofit!
AMA volunteers will help collect attendee data to better understand how many visitors come to the fair from outside the Newport area. The results will support a future grant application and help organizers continue to improve the event.
• Volunteer Shifts: 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. OR 2:30–5:30 p.m.
• Meeting Location: Newport This Week, 86 Broadway, Newport
• Volunteer Duties: Walk the fair, talk with attendees, and encourage visitors to share basic information—including ZIP code—through a quick QR-code survey. Be friendly, engage with attendees, and have fun!
• Before the Event: Shirts and instructions will be provided in advance by Shelly Nicholas.
• Day-of Support: Newport This Week will serve as the home base for volunteers, with Deb Bailey available on site.
