About Us
The mission of Turning Point USA at Salve Regina University is to educate and engage students on the importance of freedom, limited government, free markets, and fiscal responsibility. We are committed to fostering civil discourse, encouraging open minded dialogue, and creating opportunities for students to participate in thoughtful discussions about the economic and political issues that will shape their future. We also commit ourselves to dialogue and action that reflect the Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy honoring human dignity, promoting nonviolence, and advocating for women. We believe that the values of freedom and responsibility are not separate from compassion and justice, but instead complement one another in building a stronger and more inclusive community. We will use the resources and support provided by Turning Point USA’s national organization, including weekly activism pamphlets, short educational videos, contributor speeches, and in-person staff guidance. These resources allow us to host events, share information, and promote non-partisan, thought-provoking discussions on campus.
