Volunteers who are creative and know how to loom, crochet or knit are needed from 1:10-2:10PM in the Mercy Commons to help make winter hats for community members through Newport Housing Hotline. The Newport Housing Hotline has been a valued resource in Newport County, helping families and individuals stay in their homes with one-time grants for rental assistance and aid with shutoff notices for gas and electricity. The Housing Hotline has helped more than one hundred thousand individuals for over forty years.
Location: Mercy Commons
Supplies: Volunteers will be provided with supplies to loom. However, if you prefer to use your own supplies you may bring them to use
