About Us
Salve SAVES (Sexual Assault Violence Education and Support) is a student-run organization that aims to provide educational opportunities, spread awareness, and actively combat the prevalence of sexual assault and domestic violence at Salve Regina. As college students, we have the opportunity to play integral roles in countering rape culture and ending sexual violence, not only on our campus, but also around the country. It is also important to note that, despite its relevance in our culture, sexual misconduct and domestic violence continue to be uncomfortable conversational topics. Salve SAVES hopes to create and foster safe spaces on campus and pave the way for these important conversations to take place. Above all, we are Advocates, we are Survivors, we are Allies, we are Faculty, we are the Salve community. It is our mission to give back, educate, and advocate for that community.
