Trainings through the LGBTQ+ Center are great for students seeking a training on LGBTQ+ topics for their club or organization, for faculty seeking an outside perspective on topics they're discussing in their courses, or for staff who want more information on working with and relating to LGBTQ+ students.
LGBTQ+ 101 trainings last about an hour and can be tailored to your needs, matching topics that you have been discussing in your course, department, or organization, and need a community perspective on.
Safe Zone trainings last 2-3 hours and include discussion and activities on advocacy- ending with a certification that identifies you as a safe person for LGBTQ+ Students to connect with.
Any training request requires at least 2 weeks advance notice.
